We design and build web and mobile software

Accra — 2026

Softwarethat earnsits keep.

DM Studios builds the software a business runs on, and the products its customers pay for. The same person stays on the job from the first conversation to the day you take the keys.

Kindred

Fans put real money behind the artists they believe in.

An app for rising African artists and the fans who support them. Listeners pay one monthly fee, split across up to five artists they follow. Those fans unlock exclusives from the artists they fund. Artists use a website to release music and run the business.

Ridgeway

Everyone who touches a building works from the same record.

Property firms in Accra often run ten or twenty buildings out of spreadsheets, chat threads, and paper. Ridgeway is what replacing that looks like. Staff, owners, tenants, and field crews share one system for rent, repairs, and jobs. The public site where people browse empty units stays as it is.

Why it works this way

Agencies sell hours. We sell a product that still works after we leave.

01A lot of shops put a senior name on the pitch, then hand the build to whoever is free. Here, the person who scopes your product is the person who designs it, writes it, and hands it over.

02We agree the scope in writing before any code. You see what is in, what is out, and how many weeks the first version will take. That number does not drift every month.

03When we finish, you get the code, the accounts, and a walkthrough of how it runs. You are not locked into a retainer you cannot leave.

What we do

One studio for the whole product. From the first question to launch.

01

Scoping and planning

A written brief, a fixed first-version scope you sign off, and a build order you can hold us to. Ambiguity gets settled before the bill runs.

02

Interface design

Screens designed in the same place the product is built. One visual system for web and phone, not a mockup that gets redrawn later.

03

Web engineering

Marketing sites and web apps that load cleanly, work on a phone browser, and stay easy to change after handover.

04

Mobile engineering

iPhone and Android from one codebase. Built for real devices and real use — not a demo that only works on a laptop simulator.

05

Data and backends

Accounts, databases, files, and the jobs that run behind the product. We choose tools that fit the job, not a stack for its own sake.

06

Payments and access

Taking money and deciding who can see what. Rules live on the server so access is not a hidden button in the UI.

07

AI when it helps

Only when it clearly helps the person using the product or running it. A human still decides. No chatbot bolted on for show.

08

Launch and hand over

Hosting, store submission when there is an app, then the code, the accounts, and a walkthrough of how to run it yourself.

  1. 01A written brief

    Discover

One long conversation and a written questionnaire. Who it is for, what has to work on day one, and what can wait. Answers get written down, not left in someone's head.

  2. 02Fixed scope, price, and date

    Lock

Before any code, you get the whole first version written out: every screen, what is in, what is out, in the order it will be built. The price and the date sit on that document. They do not move unless you move them.

  3. 03Something you can use each week

    Build

Design and code move together. Every week you open real software on a real device and say what is wrong. Feedback goes into the product, not into a comment on a mockup.

  4. 04The code, the accounts, the keys

    Hand over

The code with its full history, every account in your name, and a recorded walkthrough of how it runs and how to change it.
